“In September I departed from an amazing client after spending the last 9 months helping them deliver the first two releases of their ServiceNow re-platform delivery. It was my first experience of a ServiceNow re-platform, as I had always worked on green field ServiceNow deliveries. This was a great learning experience and I was fortunate enough to work with a fantastic partner, Plat4mation, who has extensive experience in ServiceNow re-platforms. They led the way in advising our client on how best to get back to a clean, un-customised platform. The partnership with Plat4mation was a success from start to finish, as they are a company with very similar values to Whyaye — working at a fast, agile pace, and with a focus on creating wins for the customer.
Despite this phase of the project coming to an end, together we were able to ensure we positioned the client for maximum value realisation by establishing “repeatable” ways of working (i.e., staying out of the box), introducing Mob (shorter, focused) testing, cutover planning (rigorous, detailed planning to ensure a low-risk implementation), and helping them establish their own efficient ways of working (daily stand-ups, scrum of scrums etc.). I truly feel I have left a high-performing and capable team who will carry this project forward to achieve its maximum potential. It was an absolute pleasure to be a part of their journey thus far. Plat4mation, who remains involved in the delivery of this effort, was an absolute pleasure to partner with.”
