Our client required a new Business Continuity Management (BCM) solution due to the decommissioning of their existing BCM tooling & were struggling with the adoption & usage.
Delivering a ServiceNow out-of-the-box solution, configured to meet with the current suite of Business Impact Analyses and Business Continuity Plans, as well as migrating data across & fully supporting the roll out internally.
With great feedback from our client, the final delivery provided an out-of-the-box solution, configured to the client’s requirements with several key outcomes met.

The client required a new Business Continuity Management (BCM) solution due to the decommissioning of their existing BCM tooling.
After the BCM module within the ServiceNow platform was selected as the preferred option to meet their needs, the challenge was to deliver an out-of-the-box solution, configured to meet with the current suite of Business Impact Analyses and Business Continuity Plans.
Additionally, the migration of data from the existing tool into the ServiceNow platform was required to support their ongoing Business Continuity response capability.

The combination of the Business Continuity expertise within our wider Operational Resilience team, alongside ServiceNow platform expertise from our Product and Platform Assurance team, delivered the migration of plans and data into the ServiceNow BCM module.
Our Business Change and Adoption team worked alongside the client’s key stakeholders, co-developing an implementation plan, and creating a champions network to support the rollout and embedding of the solution out to global representatives.

In 10 weeks we designed, built, tested & migrated the out-of-the-box Service Now solution configured to the client’s requirements, and even managed to do this under budget. Key outcomes included:
- Over 90 Business Impact Analyses and Business Continuity Plans created
- Specific supporting data migrated into each plan, ready for use by global business representatives
- Defined Business Impact Analysis, Business Continuity Plan, IT Application Plan and Emergency Response plan templates created, supporting future consistency in BCM planning
- Reporting capability developed and delivered, aligned with the client’s Key Risk Indicators
